July 26, 2024, 7:00 PM– The Little Mermaid presented by MVCT Arts and Culture, Community Location: Napoleon JH/HS Gymnatorium, 701 Briarheath Dr, Napoleon, OH 43545 Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

There will be cornhole and pong tournaments on Saturday. Free admission on Sunday for parents with kids for kids’ day activities. Food and beverages available, no carry-ins. Huge wooden dance floor and open seating under roof. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the food, fun, music and atmosphere in Hamler, Ohio! July 26, 2024, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM Art on the Street at Genacross Arts and Culture, Community Location: Genacross Lutheran Services, 1036 S Perry St, Napoleon, OH 43545 Fun family summer event, open to the public. Friday July 26, 2024, 10am-3pm and Saturday July 27, 2024, from 9am-1pm. Come chalk a parking lot space starting Friday or Saturday. Entry fee of $5.00 for all ages. Judging for chalk art will be Saturday at noon. We have a cooling station, free face painting, rummage sale, food truck Friday with @Jacobo’s Street Eats, crafting vendors, @Willow and Wren Handmade, @Bougie Barkery, Paparatzi Jewelry vendor, our residents sewing club. We have Ben Jammin Rosales saxophone serenade Friday July 26th from 10:30-11:30am and Saturday our own Napoleon Community Band Saturday July 27th from 10am-11am. Stop by and shop, listen to music or participate in the Art on the Street! We are still accepting vendor tables for $25 entry fee.

July 22, 2024, 7:00 PM– Humane Society Bingo Community, Fundraiser Location: 470 Independence Drive, Napoleon, OH 43545 Since 1998, the HCHS has been successfully operating a State licensed bingo game to help keep our shelter operating. This is important to our shelter as we receive no county or state funding. Players and volunteers are always welcome!
