You will wonder how people ever survived the “so called cures.” From snake oil and swamp root remedies, to intriguing beauty treatments specifically designed to fix your double chin, you won’t want to miss this classic medicine show. The Black Swamp Medicine Girls will entertain you with their humor, knowledge and antics as you journey with them on an apothecary adventure. The show is explicitly designed by the Black Swamp Medicine Girls to “Quack You Up!”

Help children deal with death, divorce, pet loss, moving, and other losses~

As parents, or those entrusted with children in our lives, we want to help our children in every way we can, especially when they are experiencing painful events. T he Helping Children With Loss program provides helpful information and proven tools to effectively help children work through the emotionally painful events that happen in life.

H elping Children With Loss is for adults such as:

Parents
Teachers
Coaches
Counselors
Youth Pastors
Daycare Providers
Juvenile Justice Staff
others who work with youth
This program is modelled on the evidenced-based Grief Recovery Method and will meet on Thursday evenings for 4 weeks, April 4 – April 25, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm.
Please plan to attend all 4 sessions.
THERE IS NO COST – service is provided by Henry County Health Department for anybody experiencing loss of any kind, with books furnished by the Four County ADAMhs Board.

Since 1998, the HCHS has been successfully operating a State licensed bingo game to help keep our shelter operating. This is important to our shelter as we receive no county or state funding. Players and volunteers are always welcome!
Monday nights @ the Filling Home – 470 Independence Drive, Napoleon, Ohio.
Doors open at 5pm – games start at 7pm.
Must at least 18 years of age for entry. You must play bingo or volunteer to be present. Volunteers may arrive as early as 4PM to assist with set up. (Please contact us in advance if you choose to help with set up.)

The Circle of Friends Relay For Life team is having their annual Spring Quarter Frenzy complete with 60+ items donated by businesses, volunteers, vendors, and restaurants for you to bid on!
Doors open at 5:00 and auction begins promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Dinner and drinks will also be available to purchase. Adult beverages can also be purchased at the bar.
You can shop for with our vendors who will be there that evening as well!
