Meet the Author, Author Talk and Signing: Brooke M. Ward

Arts and Culture, Community

Location: Holgate Community Library, 204 Railway Ave, Holgate, OH 43527

🌟 Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month Spotlight 🌟

Meet Brooke Ward, a Napoleon author and advocate who is sharing her powerful journey in her new memoir, If It Ain’t Brooke, Don’t Fix It.

At just 15, Brooke’s life changed forever after a car accident left her a C4 quadriplegic. Doctors gave her less than a year to live — but 21 years later, she’s thriving, inspiring others, and breaking down misconceptions about spinal cord injuries. 💪

📖 Brooke’s memoir tells the realness of life: the ups, the downs, family, loss, and resilience.
✨ Her message? “I don’t want to be ‘fixed.’ This is who I am. This is my story.”

📅 Upcoming Book Events:
👉 Book Signing — September 27, 1–6 p.m. | American Legion Annex, Napoleon
👉 Author Talk & Signing — October 18, 11 a.m.–Noon | Holgate Library

Let’s honor Brooke’s story this September and continue to raise awareness, advocate, and support those living with spinal cord injuries. 💙
