VBS at St John Holgate

Church Event, Community, Summer Activity

Location: St John Lutheran Church, 5501 N Wilhelm St, Holgate, OH 43527

This summer, St. John Lutheran Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School. This will be from Monday, June 3rd to Friday, June 7th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Then, on Sunday, June 9th at 10:00 am during the church service, there will be a program showcasing what the children learned during the week, with a lunch picnic and popsicles for the kids and families. Your child(ren), and anyone you know are invited to participate in St John’s VBS! Ages 3 to 18 are welcome to join.
At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life. Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey! Every day, we will have singing, reading Bible stories, crafts, snacks, and outdoor games.
We hope your children will join us this summer! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact Michaela Haugen at 419-906-5860, Pastor James Haugen III at 440-334-6952, or the church phone at (419) 264-4641.
