Humane Society Bingo

Location: 470 Independence Drive, Napoleon, OH 43545

Since 1998, the HCHS has been successfully operating a State licensed bingo game to help keep our shelter operating. This is important to our shelter as we receive no county or state funding. Players and volunteers are always welcome!

Monday nights @ the Filling Home – 470 Independence Drive, Napoleon, Ohio.
Doors open at 5pm – games start at 7pm.
Must at least 18 years of age for entry. You must play bingo or volunteer to be present. Volunteers may arrive as early as 4PM to assist with set up. (Please contact us in advance if you choose to help with set up.)

You may bring your own food into the building.

Children’s Storytime at Napoleon Library

We are excited to announce that in-person storytimes at the main branch will resume in April!

Starting Tuesday, April 5th, we will hold storytime in the Youth Department every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

Every Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 the Hamler Branch Library 162 S. Marion St., Hamler hosts a knit & crochet group. Anyone who does needlework is welcomed to join. If you need lessons on knitting or crocheting they will be able to teach you.

The knit and crochet group lasts all the year long every Tuesday

Matt Richardson was born and raised in Napoleon, Ohio. He is currently living in the much smaller town of Hamler, Ohio. Matt has been involved in theater for the past 20 years everywhere from Archbold to Bowling Green and Van Wert to Adrian, Michigan as well as all over the Toledo area. He has also collected a handful of awards at the regional and state theater
conferences through the OCTA (Ohio Community Theater Association) organization. The following is a list of some of the shows Matt has been involved in: Beauty and the Beast: Gaston, Children of Eden: Noah, The Civil War: Union Soldier, Godspell: Jesus, Titanic: Fred Barrett, Side Show: Jake, Oliver: Mr. Bumble, The King and I: King, The Full Monty: Ethan Girard, Bye Bye Birdie: Conrad Birdie, A Little Night Music: Carl Magnus, Camelot: Lancelot, Fiddler on the Roof: Perchik. Most recently he was seen on stage in 3B’s production of Spamalot as King Arthur and Waterville Playshop’s Into the Woods as the Prince and Big Bad Wolf.

R4Y- Ride for Youth

R4Y- Ride for Youth: June 18th @ 9am | Bringing back the annual NapNaz group motorcycle ride, it has now been rebranded R4Y. This event is dual purposed: 1) Bringing the local biker community together for a time of fellowship 2) Helping raise funds for our N2 youth group trip to the Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) ’23. Registration opens at 9am the morning of June 18th, the ride will begin at 10 am, and then lunch, door prizes and photography will all happen afterwards.
